When we were hashing out the schedule for their wedding, she let me know that they made appointments for COVID tests the day of the wedding. It was the only time they could do, since they were leaving right after the wedding for their honeymoon. I let them know ‘it’s gonna be hard BUT you have to run after the ceremony in order to make it on time to the appointment, you don’t want to risk not getting the test and missing your honeymoon.’
Ceremony ends and guess what? They stood behind and greeted all of their family and friends and accepted their congratulations and we could not be more for it. We are FIRM believers that you should spend time with your guests the day of your wedding and you 2 are truly the most important people that day, so it’s YOUR way or the highway. They were late for their COVID test and they still got it done!! A win win for everybody.
Anyways, we already knew from their engagement shoot how sweet this couple is, so seeing them with their family and friends just confirmed how both loving and loved they truly are. There were tears, laughter, and excitement throughout the whole day, but what stood out to us most was the celebratory atmosphere that was felt from beginning to end. It was an absolute pleasure being able to capture such a joy-filled evening.
